Repeat prescriptions can be ordered by completing the right-hand section of your previous prescription form and either leaving it at the surgery or sending it to us by post. You can also order repeat prescriptions online. or using the NHS App.
Your prescription will be forwarded to your chosen pharmacy within 72 hours. Please allow the pharmacy time to prepare your medication. Ideally you need to order your prescriptions approximately 7 – 10 days before your current supply runs out.
Please note that we no longer take prescription requests over the telephone due to patient safety risks.
Electronic prescriptions
Your prescription can be sent electronically direct to the pharmacy of your choice, unfortunately this does not mean that it will be available immediately, but saves you a trip to the pharmacy to drop the prescription off.
Medication review
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.
You need to register to use our online repeat prescription ordering service and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of our receptionists.
